    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    Anyhoo........ i was thinking the other day about who would win a fight between a polar bear and a grizzly bear; or a lion and a tiger, or a crocodile and a tiger shark.
    So i guess if i had enough money i could put on a match, but you dont just walk up to the manager of a zoo and ask to buy a coupla the dangerous maneaters.
    AND, the bears are on different continents, so are the lions; the crocodile fresh water, the shark sea water.
    Then i thought is that just coincidence or is it evolutionary that the biggest predators of a species are in different place/in different life-sustaining mediums.

    Who would win the matches?
    Would it be possible to set it up?
    Is it evolutionary that these top predators dont come into contact with each other?
    (Is this thread a loada crap?)

    (Sorry this is a bit long, and equally as sorry if you think my musings are the work of a feeble mind, or someone with too much time on his hands)

    All depends on which has the best trainer, the better medical facilities and the best access to steroids...

    But the outcome would likely be, Grizzly (or better, a Kodiak Bear), Tiger and Tiger Shark as the ones on top...

    During the 49 gold rush in California they used to stage fights between lions and bears.
    The bears inevitably won.
    One big hit with those paws usually crushed the lions weaker skull before it could get its powerful jaws into action.

    So I guess bears trump cats.
    Sharks versus |crocodiles, import a few salt water crocs from Australia and I will bet with the croc.

    The fight I would love to see is a Giraffe versus a Camel.

    Basically, yes. In any given environment, there's only room for one "King Predator" and evolutionary pressures will guarantee, given time, that only one remains.

    A tiger is much bigger and stronger than a lion, so that wouldn't be much of a contest - although I'm not sure that they would actually fight unless forced into it. Polar bear/Grizzly bear, I'm not sure about.

    A crocodile beats anything, provided it can get in the first bite. The most dangerous of all mammals, by far, is the hippopotamus.
