More Rumors About the Identity of Captain Marvel‘s Cosmic Villain

Margot Robbie hints at more Harley Quinn in her future. Get up close and personal with T’Challa’s new suit in a new Black Panther poster. Plus, a teaser for Supergirl’s midseason finale, Legion loses its big bad, and mysterious casting for Game of Thrones’ final season. To me, my spoilers!

Captain Marvel

That Hashtag Show reports Ben Mendelsohn is playing Captain Yon-Rogg, a Kree informant who will set the stage for the upcoming Kree/Skrull war. In the comics, Yon-Rogg was a major antagonist of Mar-Vell, the original Captain Marvel, who’ll be played in the movie by Jude Law.

Harley Quinn

Margot Robbie confirmed to Variety she plans to reprise her role as Harley Quinn for an unspecified DCEU project next year—which could be the Suicide Squad sequel, but could also perhaps be the Joker/Harley movie from Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

I hope to be playing Harley again, at least next year. I love her.

Black Panther

A new international poster from Coming Soon isn’t afraid to let Black Panther wear his mask—which we get to see in all it’s updated glory. The little fangs on the perforated area are a nice touch.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The latest issue of Empire has two collectible covers of Kylo and Rey each, packaged inside specially marked bags so you can’t read them at Barnes & Noble.

Paddington 2

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Paddington’s latest adventure.

Legion

Variety reports Wonder Woman’s Saïd Taghmaoui has left the series, and will not be playing primary villain the Shadow King. A search for a replacement is currently underway.

Agents of SHIELD

Dove Cameron has joined Agents of SHIELD in a currently undisclosed role.

Game of Thrones

Watchers on the Wall reports Danielle Galligan has been cast as “Sarra,” a character appearing in the eighth episode of the final season. As the outlet notes, A Song of Fire and Ice does briefly include a member of the recently-purged House of Frey named Sarra, but that character has already made a fleeting appearance in season three.

Doctor Who

The BBC has turned their Twice Upon a Time poster into an ominous, dramatically scored motion poster.

Supergirl

Finally, Reign makes her long-awaited debut in the trailer for Supergirl’s midseason finale, “Reign.”
