If you’re a Costco fan, we know how much you likely miss the beloved Pizza Combo from its food court. Back in the day, you could buy a slice of pizza or a pie for a little under $10—that was before it got discontinued in 2020. Then in 2024, to our surprise, the pizza returned, but only as a take-home-and-bake option, which honestly doesn't hit the same way as fresh pizza does.

Well, if you've been missing the hot pizza component on your grocery runs, then listen up. It looks like Walmart is taking a cue from Costco and will now be slinging hot pizzas at some of its stores.

Nozzleman Pizza Co. Is Coming to Walmart

The mega retailer just opened its very first Nozzleman Pizza, a Reno-based franchise, at its Carson City, Nevada location. The pizza counter is serving everything from 16-inch pies to pizza by the slice, fries, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, chocolate chip cookies, and so much more.

This latest in-store restaurant is just one of many in Walmart's ever-evolving roster. Last year, Walmart launched the Wonder food hall inside its stores, along with Mr Gatti's Pizza. Before that, it brought on Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar for fresh, Hawaiian-style poke bowls. Earlier this year, Walmart introduced Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ, which sells hot dogs, chicken wings, tater tots, and more. Walmart seems eager to offer more varied dining options to its customers, giving us all the convenience of satisfying all our cravings in between our shopping runs.

Nozzleman Pizza is expected to open at more Walmart locations within Nevada by summer, and plans to expand to other states, including Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, and Idaho later this year. However, the end goal is to feature Nozzleman Pizza inside Walmart stores nationwide, so fingers crossed everyone can get a chance to try it soon.
